Happy Birthday!

About six years ago I was cruising an app called Whisper, my sole intention being to troll random strangers. I found it incredibly amusing, messing with random people in good natured fun with no real direction in my wanderings.

At some point during my wanderings I came across one that no decent person could have trolled and originally I just scrolled past it, not wanting to put my nose where it didn't belong. I scrolled for a few more posts but something in my mind kept wandering back to that one post, I just couldn't move past it. I went back to the post and messaged the person who'd posted it, not really expecting anything more to come from it other than reaching out to a stranger.

That was six years ago and to this day that poster and I have remained friends.

Today happens to be that person's birthday and me, being the forgetful space cadet that I am, totally forgot until I was reminded.

Happy birthday, Spirit. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for being one of the best friends a person could ask for. Thank you for being you.
